THE GUIDE

Your first shave, in three steps.

Not a complicated technique. Three reflexes to remember. The included guide will accompany you during your first shaves.

Votre premier rasage, en trois points.

Pas une technique. Trois réflexes.

  1. 1

    Do not press.

The weight of the razor is enough—that’s the whole point of its 92.6 g. Rest the head against your skin and let it glide down. If you feel yourself pushing, release: there’s no need to force it.

  2. 2

    Find the angle.

Place the head of the razor flat against your skin, then tilt the handle slightly—a few degrees is enough. You are looking for the point where the blade grazes without scraping.

  3. 3

    Small aisles.

Shave in small sections, following the direction of hair growth first. Rinse the head frequently. There's no need to go over the same spot a hundred times: one clean pass is better than three forceful ones.

Et si le premier rasage n'est pas parfait : c'est normal, et ce n'est pas un verdict. On vous accompagne par email les deux premières semaines — le temps que le geste devienne naturel.

What if the first shave isn't perfect?

That's normal. It often takes two or three tries to get the motion right, not just one. Start slowly, without pressing, and adjust the angle until you find a comfortable passage.
